Dan Murphy
Broker

Dan has lived, worked & raised his family in Southwestern Colorado for the past 27 years. Dan started his first business at the age of 16 and has gone on to build several very successful businesses. Dan and family, owned and operated a popular lake front resort on Colorado’second largest natural lake, built and owned a very successful outfitting business in Alaska, Colorado & Montana for 18 years and realized his passion for being a politically active wildlife advocate and conservationist. Dan started his real estate interests seven years ago with a family development and property management business. In recent years he has co-developed two projects: one on the beaches of South Padre Island, Texas and another in Southwestern Colorado. Dan was asked to join Kelli Murphy as a broker associate in 2004, to form Team Murphy Realty LLC, and is by his words “one of the best things to happen in my life”. While Dan feels as at home nestled in a sleeping bag on a glacier fed river of Alaska to the 13,000 ft basins of Colorado, or flats fishing in the Laguna Madre, he also has developed a strong business sense of purchasing and selling real estate. If you ask Dan to date his best accomplishment, his answer would be being husband and father to his wife, Michelle and two great kids, Jake and Kyleen.

Michael Murphy

Michael has split the last four decades between Colorado and Texas. Michael was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for American Beverage Co., San Antonio, Texas and Regional Director of  Sales and Marketing for New Belgium Brewing Co., Fort Collins, Colorado. Michael has also been associated with the operation and game management of a 15,000 acre ranch in Southwest Texas.

Michelle Murphy

Michelle is a Native to Colorado, and lived on the western slope for 24 years. With her husband, Dan Murphy  they owned and operated a Resort and then a property management company on Lake San Cristobal in Lake City, CO.  She has been involved in a development in the San Juan Mountains and Texas.

Tom and Midge Murphy
Broker Associate

Tom and Midge started a lifetime love affair with Lake City and the surrounding area as tourists in 1969. Through more than 3 decades of living the mountain dream in the Lake Fork area, they built a wonderful life. While raising three outstanding children, they owned and operated a number of very successful tourist-oriented businesses. Through their involvement in civic duties, they helped Lake City plan and build for a bright and successful future. Their knowledge of development, construction, infrastructure, planning and sales in this area has given them a wide basis of experience for their new roles with Team Murphy.
